Why stories scale
We’ve brought these methods into settings ranging from new online academies to established Ofsted-accredited schools. In each case, the goal is the same:
- Spark curiosity before introducing abstract concepts.
- Invite students to step inside a narrative world, rather than stand outside the syllabus.
- Use the story as a bridge between disciplines — maths, geography, history, science.
From model to method
When we adapt our work for a new school, we don’t just rebrand materials. We:
- Select narrative anchors that fit the school’s culture and curriculum.
- Integrate them into their existing tech and assessment systems.
- Support staff in weaving these anchors into their own lesson design.
Because a storymap or narrative module is infinitely adaptable, it can work just as well in a Year 8 maths class as it does in a geography or STEAM project.
